The Street Plan is the next step in realising the vision of the Public Realm Strategy. It provides a working plan for the basis of the detailed design. It has been developed to achieve the following important changes to Furtherwick Road, High Street and Foksville Road:
Alignment of the roads and junctions
Locations of pedestrian crossings, parking bays, loading bays, taxi ranks and bus stops
Location of trees and light columns
Location for street furniture and signage
Highlight areas for public art, event spaces and street markets.
